Did this update your amp blocks without resetting the values?

I just did a test with the matchless and I could hear a slight difference in the low end. I guess you need to update the amp blocks. Using 12.03beta5 before.

Do a quick test - switch on "ideal pentode" as your power tube, test again! ;)
 
The Dumble type amps are killin' it in 12.04b!!!

For that matter so are the 'Wrecks, the Marshall's, the Fender's, Vox's, Mesa', etc, etc, etc. All of the amps I've tried so far have benefited from this latest firmware. The Dumble ODS type just stood out for me this evening. My primary amp for many years just before I started with the AxeFX was a hand-tuned Fuchs ODS-50 1x12 combo. Prior to 12.04b the ODS type amps weren't quite there (IMO of course) but I'll be damaged if they're not spot-on now (at least to my expectations based on a very well tuned Fuchs ODS).

I'm really diggin' this!!! :)
 
I just made a patch with mark IIC and ownhammers V30 EN/CH (mix'd with cab-lab)
Played the intro riff Pull me under (Dream Theater) and compared to a stem track.

Wow, it's so good! Now you can hear that extra I never ever thought a guitar processor could produce.
The palm muting is so real, sounds just like a kranked 4x12

.. for me this update changing everything.

Yes they are!! Was working on a Santana song last night (Smooth, I know...).... anyways, the ODS-100 lead was awesome with my PRS! The single notes are just so THICK!! It's killer!!
 
Interesting that there has not been any revisions to this beta... remember the last beta thread? there was bunch of updates during the duration of the thread discussion.. Cliff has made no changes to 12.04b... I wonder what he's up to! :)

After the overwhelming positive responses from almost all users, messing with this would be a cautious task. This is a damn good gumbo, let's just enjoy it for now.

Nothing really. A few bug fixes is all. We're just finalizing things so we can do an official release along with Axe-Edit and the other goodies we will be announcing.
 
Get to try this out at our gig with the local casino tonight! One thing i noticed besides the punch adjusting the LF going into my CLR, is the clarity. I will report back tonight, after the gig, my results!

I noticed dialing up the 5153 blue, after adjusting the LF to around 7 I could bump up the master a bit to push it harder...crunchy and clear is how I would describe it thus far...

Hoping it sits well in the mix!

Thanks again Cliff, and entire FAS team for your continuous efforts making this the best damn unit available/possible that's out there!
