AX8 V3.50 Released

?..since this is new I had no way of knowing that the horizontal VU meters were NOT in the Utility menu.

You had one way of knowing...the release notes.

Just out of curiousity - why 3.5.0 and not 3.05?

I'm not sure if Fractal developers conform to the versioning practices found HERE... but the right-most number in a three digit version usually just means bug fixes. Therefore, the only difference between a version like 3.0.0 and 3.0.1 might be some bug fixes. Changing the middle number would denote new features that will be apparent to the user. Changing the left-most number would be an all out new version with a new user interface and possibly not backwards compatible.

there's usually only on dot/point in FAS Firmware.

this is 3.50 not 3.5.0 - previous versions were 3.04 3.03 etc.

^This. While we only utilize a two number versioning scheme (X.Y), 3.50 was selected over 3.05 to denote feature additions without the addition of major amp modeling enhancement, a major shift in footswitch management, or some other dramatic change in how the AX8 is operated.

Sweetness. Joe was there a quick method of getting to the VU meter panel from any of the other firmware releases? Or would you be able to incorporate possibly a pressing of 2 keys to go RIGHT TO the VU meter? Just making sure I didn't miss this, sorry if I overlooked previous updates mate... Thanks!

from the FS page (the main page) press Shift then Page - you will go LEFT and wrap around to the VU meter.
