I don't like Presonus's forum layout, maybe some of you fine people could help me with something? I've been a long time Reaper user, but when I got the AX8 and sold my Helix I needed a new interface. I ended up buying a Presonus something that also came with Studio One 5 Artist edition, so I tried it out expecting to be unimpressed. Surprisingly enough, the exact opposite happened! Despite being the stripped down version there's still a good amount of different usable plugins, plus I have a few good ones of my own. It's making me want to upgrade to Professional because I'm just finding it much easier to work with overall.
Reaper is very capable, but I've watched numerous videos on it and I still just can't fully jive with it. I hit the ground running with Studio One though and can't really see myself going back to Reaper now. I hear they usually do a half-off Black Friday sale so I'm definitely keeping that in mind, the only thing is I haven't felt limited by any means yet in the Artist version either. I don't do much for video so that isn't a huge concern for me, plus I could still use Reaper for that if I wanted. Any Professional users out there who would recommend the upgrade based on your own personal experience?
