Another setup question

Hi Guys,
I've had my Axe about 2 weeks now. Running it through a QSC GX5 power amp into a Marshall 4 x 12 with V30. Very kick a@@- no complaints there- but wanted to go FRFR to use the cab sims.

Today I got a passive wedge from Atomic amps and tried it out and honestly I did not like it at all. It seems like the power amps sims are not really on- I had to check twice. For example the Trainwreck sounds much more crunchy through my cabs with the cab sims off than throught the wedge with the cab sims on.

I'll give it a couple days, but here's my question- just an idiot check really-

My setup-

guitar cable out of axe output 1 (left) into QSC channel 1.

Speaker cable from QSC channel 1 into Passive wedge.

Am I missing something? Is there anything on the IO menu I need to do? I think I have everything there set to factory default.

I'm not at all unhappy with the axe- maybe I just prefer the full cab thing.
Thanks!

Sounds like you are running it mono!!
That's fine, but you should check that you are using the mono hires cab(s) and do NOT have stereo effects in your patch. If you do, I suspect it will not sound the best.
Now, if you run the right Axe out into Chan 2 on the QSC, then into another Atomic passive wedge, it would probably sound great :)
