2 New QSC lines

Hey guys

QSC just announced these at the Messe show. The K series seems like a very nice lower cost and lighter alternative to the HPR line and the CSM line looks like a serious high end monitor option.

Hmm.

Cheaper, AND lighter than the FBT actives, I wonder how good they sound?

Unfortunately, it will still be cheaper, and lighter for me to get a QXC GX3, and a couple of FBT passives.

It'll be interesting to hear feedback comparing these to the HPR's! I also wonder if the Fratomic will be out by the time these come out.

They're lighter and cheaper mainly because they use the Class D amplifier which I've inquired about products featuring this type of amp on this forum and the more engineering savy members have pointed out the faults of the class D amps. The infamous HPR series uses class H and class AB+B. I can't comment on the differences but they're suppose to significant and possibly worth the extra hundred dollars. I'm quite interested to see how the 10 inch version manages vs the 12.
