Mk 2 to Mk 3 backup restore

So before selling my Mfc 101 Mk 2 threeyears ago I backed it up. Now I purchased a Mfc 102 Mk 3 and fractal bot won’t let me restore the Mk 2 backup to the Mk 3 Mfc 101. It took me forever to get the MFC Mk 2 the way I wanted it and now I totally forgot all I did in programming it. And it looks like I may have to start from scratch programming the Mk 3. Is there anything i can do to avoid the starting from scratch on the Mk 3?

You could try MFC Edit & see if that works. Also, I think you can open your backup file & see what's there, do a backup of your new MFC & then plug the data into that file & send it back to the new MFC.

Thanks for sharing that. I opened up my mk 2 backup in the MFC edit and then saved it as a mk 3. Then sent that to the MFC and it worked perfectly!! Very cool program . Thanks again I’m back in business.
