A word to the wise concerning the Axe FX USB port!

Looks like this must be what happened to mine. Also in Northern Florida (Jacksonville), might have been the same day...it was mid-September.

Ah, whatever he's playing, he's incredible. The Animals as Leaders album is outstanding....musical, virtuosity, TASTE, with an edge...it's like jazzy-funk prog metal. What a combination.

External 1U Custom IR Speaker Simulator

I had thought about this too...basically just a big "solid state hard drive" to store IRs in, that you could route your AxeFX effects block signal chain through, then out to FRFR speakers. Would be awesome.

Some new sounds

Sounds great! The rhythm part almost has a "Police" feel to it, and the lead is great, nice and thick...you get a nice Satriani-style legato run going there at about the 1:20 or so mark, too...very nice!

Incredible player...

Sidivan...yeah, this kid has incredible skills...and he is versatile...the version of Gary Moore's "The Loner" that he did with Dragianni (also a monster player), shows his versatility, and I really think his biggest strength is his musicality...he can really cut loose and hit the "wow" button...

Incredible player...

Yeah, he really makes it look effortless...he's obviously very influenced by Steve Vai (and who on Jemsite isn't?), but he has his own thing going on...sort of the way it is obvious that Steve Vai is very influenced by Jimi Hendrix, but has his own thing (or several of his own things) going on.

Incredible player...

So I have been watching this kid on YouTube since I saw a post of his on jemsite a year or so ago...he is playing through an Ibanez RG450LTD, some pedals, and a Behringer amp...and sounds amazing, with a metric ton of chops. Just like that video of Satriani playing a Rogue Strat through some...

Would be hilarious if they fell down during a show...almost like how the "real" Wizard of Oz was behind the curtain, controlling the hologram. Reminds me of the graphics on one of the Guitar Hero games, where there is a huge wall of stacks behind the "band" in the game.
