Used up my stand in switches... what can momentary pedals do?

I am using my stand in switches for layout changes and I want more on my FC6. I would like a dedicated tap tempo and tuner switch. Is that possible with momentary switches plugged into the expression pedal inputs?

Thanks for the input guys! So it sounds like there is some difference in feel but maybe no difference in how you dial them in. Well I'm on the waiting list and it looks like that may take a bit especially for the fc6 so I may be using the FX8 for quite some time.

I made a custom rack for my FX8

I wanted to use my FX8 to control my amp and be in my fx loop (Dumbleator clone) so I built this rack and it came out great. Just wanted to share. I can leave the cables in the back of the rack and just run a midi chord to my RJM Mastermind :-) I'm stoked! I'm going to have a soft case made...
