Hello I hope all is well. I'm thinking of getting the axe fx 3 (newset version) and I know how powerfull it is but I don't wanna get it and then months or a year later a new version comes out.

how long do you think the 3 has or how close / far away are we from v4?

what are your thoughts on it? can @FractalAudio share anything regarding that?

I sure wouldn’t put off the axe fx3mk2 turbo based on those estimates. I looked at it but decide now was the time.

But here's the thing... why?

Seriously though, I'm just now finally getting a III. The FM3 gave me a taste. Took a little time off, some reset time. The III is amazing.

What more will a IV be able to do? I'm sure the power users know what could be done, but also why the III has plenty of legs.

Definitely. Seems to me as though there's plenty of life left. I know I won't be maxing out the CPU any time soon.
