All,

The Logic Pro X 10.4.3 update is now available in Mac App Store.
This update includes a fix for an issue reported by some Axe-Fx III owners where MIDI messages from a connected keyboard became corrupted while Axe-Edit was in use.

To stop this from happening, perform the following steps in Logic:

Open Preferences
Change to the MIDI page
Change to the new "Input" tab
Remove the Checkbox next to "Axe-Fx III"

Note: If you want to record MIDI from the Axe-Fx III, reverse these steps with the understanding that when you do, note on/off data from a connected 3rd party MIDI keyboard may become unpredictable.

Eureka! it actually works, and is globally applied !! I can go back to ignoring my Environment on every new project......thanks to all involved.
