    The guitar that I built in my signature photo has a custom 5. It is not my favorite distorted sound (though good) It is my favorite clean sound when split with a jazz. This guitar is the best sounding clean guitar I’ve had in it’s combination of those two pick ups.

    I record via axe in input 1 and capture DI i record amps via the UA ox into inputs 3 (and 4) at times if I want to mic something, I settle on a mic input from an older 11rack via input 3 as well.

    Being fortunate to have an FM9 allowed the axe3 to get mounted in a desk. I run the OX into the computer via the fractal as well. Fractal versatility, DI, modeling, or tubes.

    Thanks. It was one of the lead settings on Petrucci‘s rig. might not be what I should have used though it still sounds cool in the room. I haven’t hooked the FM up to a computer yet but when I do, curious about chasing demartini sounds with the diezel Channel 3.
