BUG: Mac Axe-Edit won't quit if "communications paused"

On Mac version 3.2, if you Pause Communications you cannot quit the Axe-Edit program until you resume.

Strange reamping latency issue

Could this have something to do with the AXE FX USB Buffer Size setting? I see that it's defaulted to 1024.

Strange reamping latency issue

efx: I'm seeing this exact latency behavior with my Apogee Ensemble and Logic X. Software monitoring is off. When I change the buffer size to 1024 everything lines up correctly, but at 32 there is a serious lag. Were you able to figure out why?

Power amp suggestions

I had a similar experience with the Matrix 1000. My cab is a Bogner Uber 4x12 slant. I loved the idea of the Matrix. Small, light and transparent. I thought it sounded good but it was lacking a three dimensional quality. Maybe if I had spent additional hours tweaking the AxeFX I could have...

Help programming LF+ Jr

After switching the Globals switch everything continues to work but on the second line of the LF display it always is showing "STOP-----------". However when the Axe FX is off, this does not happen. It doesn't seem to affect any functionality. Any ideas why that is happening or how to fix it?

Thanks for the help! The problem was indeed the preset Globals switch. I turned it off for all presets and now things are working as expected.

How do the non 6L6 amp models sound through the 2:90? I love myself a good boogie tone but I also would like to have a screamin' JCM 800 patch. Can the 2:90 do this, or does it add too much Mesa "color"? Trying to decide between one of these and a Fryette 2/50/2.

Thanks Rod for taking a look at my settings, much appreciated. Is there a way to set that "External Patch Matching" feature for all the presets at once? I know some of the settings you can right-click but I couldn't get that one to work. I did modify my presets from 300+ to test that though...

Matrix vs. Tube poweramp

For those of you with a Fryette 2/90/2 or 2/50/2... how is the low end? I've read a few reviews saying that these power amps were pretty flat and almost "solid state" sounding without the low-end "thump". Is there any truth to that? I'm on the hunt for something to replace a Matrix GTFX1000...

Yes, the LF controller is amazingly flexible and I think it can eliminate the need for multiple expression pedals for a lot of people.

I figured out how to accomplish this with a LF controller. In case anyone else is trying to do this, I set the WAH block to use External 1 and the Volume block to use External 2. Then I simply programmed the LF to switch between the two depending on the selected patch.

Anyone using a Valve Poweramp?

I just recently got an Axe FX II and have been running it through the power section of my Mark V into a Bogner 4x12. Sounds great... honestly it's hard to differentiate the USA amp models from the real Mark V in this setup. I would be very curious to try one of the Matrix power amps instead...
