Any reason this wouldn't make a great guitar road case?

One issue I can think of, is there is foam on the inside, which might stick to a guitar's finish. On sale at the moment for $110 which seems better than some, and it looks much sturdier than some, is waterproof. I've got a smaller one for tools and it is pretty solid. Maybe just pick out some...

Best practices using Axe-Edit, MFC-101 & RAC12

Recently got a RAC12 to use when playing with others, previously only used AxeEdit, never learned the front panel much. For people who also have an mfc-101 or a RAC12, what tips do you have if you'd like to keep AxeEdit as part of your workflow? Not sure how well these "play along" together.

Any success with VirtualBox running Axe-Edit

Would like a simple portable working thing to work with the AxeII, managing all firmware updates, and patches. Too many updates in life... Looking for success stories and advice. I'm thinking XP client going USB to the Axe II. Could use Ubuntu.

What tool so guitar is in tune with radio & clips when learning?

I prefer to keep the guitar in tune with my little tuner, because I can hear when it's out. But It takes me a good 2 minutes, sometimes much longer, to a different pitch when I'm trying to match what's on the radio, youtube, or other clip. Any ideas on how to tune a stream on the PC to match...

MFC-101 does it fit inside rack case with your Axe?

What rack case do you recommend for both MFC-101 AND your Axe? Just wondering how people transport the MFC-101. It would be cool if you could put it in the bottom of a rack case for transport. Anyone doing this? If so, what rack case are you using?

Chicken or the egg, what's first firmware to 11 or Axe-Edit

The docs say Axe-Edit requires firmware version 11. Does this also mean it can't upgrade the AxeII firmware below 11? I've not dealt with Axe Bot - and always prefer to keep the amount of software installed to a minimum. Does one need Axe Bot to get to 11? Should you (can you) upgrade...

couldn't update firmware with USB ADAPTER MODE set to ON

Had a number of different problems trying to update from 5 to 5.01 on XP sp3 with Axe-Edit latest version. The Axe2's UI kept freezing up. Merge was off. I tried rebooting the Axe as well as Axe-Edit (close and restart) a couple of times. Got stuck at with the Axe waiting and seeing nothing...

the USB driver shows two ports for the Axe, but what about the MIDI ports?
