2 minute update time limit...

I had sent mine in. The 2:10 thing wasn't fixed. When I upgraded to 3.0, I had the same issues as before. So far, I always seem to find a way. I figure at some point it'll be time vs. distance and I'll run out of time.

Fishman Triple Play - Wireless midi pickup

hey JoeHans, are you using Omni through the Triple Play software? When I try, it loads the VST fine and I can play, but won't recall the Omni patch once I've saved as a user patch inside the Triple Play software. They "synth" slot comes back empty. Let me know if you get a chance. thx, ~T~

Is ERROR 14 forever?

I just remembered that I have a unique problem. My MFC times out at 130 seconds no matter what. Fractal-Bot won't work. I'll go back to midi-ox and see if I'm fast enough to get it on. For me, it's file size vs. time. I currently have Midi-ox set at 256-16-49ms Here's my issue. Check it out...

I perform a factory reset of the entire rig whenever either piece get an update. In fact, after I was to get 2.16 finally on, the first thing the MFC asked was to reset. This whole time I thought this was normal and never brought it up before. Not until I've been reading how everyone else was...

I tried the solution that jjozwia suggested. NO GO! 2 mins 10 secs, but instead of an error 14, the MFC reboots/starts up. anymore suggestions?

I can't slow things down. I only have 2 mins before it fails. for example. If I set the buffer to 120ms and immediately click send, I'll get to 47% then an error 14. If I set it to 90ms, I may get to 77%. Even If I just leave the "Waiting for Update" screen on the MFC, It will timeout around...

Just a heads up. I was one of the first group to get the MFC-101. I have always had trouble updating firmware. It's always taken dozens of tries with "error 14" messages. I have known this for awhile, but I have a 2 minute, 10 second-ish window to flash the MFC before the "error 14" pops up...

I got the screen for free. So.... we'll see if this proves to be more than "eye candy". I am a front panel guy, but I've always enjoyed the, "Dude.... What the hell is that? What are you running?" questions at shows. It's all good fun that's for sure!!!!

my .02. i bought the axe for live first, recording and such second. as a gigging player i tried the FRFR and it wasn't for me. the amp(ss or tube)/cab has ALWAYS been better for my situation. OUT1 to FOH, OUT2 to my amp. i control stage volume, the sound guy wrecks it for everyone else. LOL...

Using AXE FX 2 Live - with 2 separate outputs - tube power amp and FOH

the advantage for me using OUT1 to FOH and OUT2 to a an amp/cab mainly is for me controlling my own stage sound (volume, eq, ect) without screwing with the sound guy. i've had more compliments on my tone using the cab sims FOH than a mic'd cab. but i play in a rock cover band and most of the...
