Axe8 Edit and Cab Lab/Fractal Bot

Fractal Warriors! I am a proud new owner of the Axe8 after many many years with the original Axe 2 (and an Ultra before that.)

Quick question- with my Axe II I can open up Axe Edit and Cab Lab or Fractal Bot at the same time.

With the Axe8 I have to close Axe8 Edit to get Cab Lab or Fractal Bot to connect. The program will open, but I don't get the two green checks beside the midi setting (Fractal Bot) or says the device can't be found (Cab Lab.) .

Am I missing a setting here? I included a quick screen capture that will hopefully explain what I am saying.

I could be wrong and I am very new myself, I also know Fractool is not affiliated with Fractal but I have the same issues with AX8 Edit and Fractool.

I can't just open them both and rock. I have to really manipulate them by opening and closing one or the other or both in order to get them to connect. I guess it just is what it is. Maybe lack of CPU power or some coding needed or something I really don't know but you are not alone.
