FM3 and external switch options?

I think if I go ahead and get one I’ll end up using to boards. Fm3 and wireless back of the stage and an fc6 with a couple of exp pedals at the front. Combining all the in one board to make it useable live will be massive and only having two pedal inputs kills using it without an fc6. it...

Does feel like everyone is passing on the non hp model, I suspect having the regular version available in the US now has made people think it will be here soon in the EU and the lack of gigs means there isn’t an urgency to buy gear unless it’s for home use where the head phones might be handy...

Feels like a lot of people are passing on the unit without headphones do they are wizzing through the list! I’m not fussed about them and more of a debate between this and the ax8 in terms of footswitches or even an iridium as a simpler small unit. I suspect I’ll get one and try it - there...

I was added to the waitlist on the 23rd April 2019 at 7pm uk time. I have just received my invitation for a non headphone version today 20th May. Very tough choice to make. I do wish we knew more about the hp date.

Thanks for that update. I was added to the list at 19.44 on the 23rd April but assume there are plenty of people before me that had ordered an ax8. At least the end is in sight - it’s been frustrating watch our American friends get their orders.

Running into the fx return on a Soldano

How do you set up your footswitches?

Scenes 1 to 4 across the bottom from clean, low gain, mid gain, solo with a boost and delay. Buttons 5 to 8 add in effects - depends on the amp and style of music but often I’ll have ch, ph, trem and delay with the type depending on the type of music the preset is for. I don’t use x/y on the...

Any plans for a small stomp AX4?

It does look like a great solution, lots of my gigs would suit a small version and it would be awesome to have access to some of the fractal sounds in a little box. I’m holding out for a fractal equivalent but if I cave in and get the L6 I guess I can sell it when the small fractal arrives.

New Patch Set!! "PEDAL PLATFORM PATCHES" Update - RELEASED!!

Quick question for anyone using these patches - I just upgraded to 10.01 and I’m suffering with lots of high end feedback as soon as any gain is added. I’m using the scenes versions. No problems that I can find with any of my other presets - (my own or others from GD which still sound great)...

I would instantly order an ax4. If the processing needs to be cut down then for the smaller unit then restrict some of the options eg one block of each effect, 4 presets or scenes and a scroll knobs to change banks etc for the added portability it would be worth it imo.

Dealing with feedback live

Try adjusting the top end. When using high gain, sounds that are great in the studio often have too much when you’re playing live at a volume that competes with a hard hitting drummer.
