Thanks Rex, is the only difference in the newer mark II the larger text size in the LCD and scribble strips?

FC-12 with Axe III MKII

Hello, I have an Axe Fx III MK II. Will I have any issues with an FC-12 MK I? I believe they run different firmware correct? I just wanted to check before buying a used one I found at a reasonable price. Any help or guidance is appreciated!

Switching to AX8 from Kemper ...

I was a Fractal owner for years using AXE Standard then moving to the AXE II. I decided to sell th Fractal gear and used Kemper for two years. You're right the Kemper is good however everything just sounded the same. I purched the AX8 and couldn't be happier. I think you will be very happy too.

Is the Matrix GT1000FX Enough?

Even the GT800FX does the job and its loud! The Powerstation is nice much but heavier and takes more room in the rack.

AX8 V4.00 Release

I had to turn down the brightness on most of my own patches. Other then that it sounds anwesome. Open, natural and responsive. Great job!

You can only use one amp block but the X/Y will get you two different settings for that one amp.

4cm routing question - is this possible?

Does the AX8 have relays in the pedal inputs? I'd like to be able to channel switch my head which uses a standard 1/4 mono cable or do I need to get a midi control switcher like the voodoo labs or amp gizmo? If someone could shed light on this I'd appreciate it. From Ola's statement here...

AX8 doesn't really sound quite right

Prior to the Runt was a SMALLBOX, Pink Taco and a BE100 lol I love the Runt smaller design and 50 watts is plenty of power.

Stereo Amp Advice Please

The Yamaha THR100HD has a stereo loop. ;) This head is very loud and the best part is it's light weight!

Hmmmmm I don't think it sounds dark at all. You'll have to make some adjustments to compensate for your guitars pups. Are you running FRFR or into a power amp and speaker cab? If you are running FRFR try a few different IR cabs.
