so... whole bunch of bass presets... some tone matches... some unconventional bass amps...

EDIT/UPDATE: so... just wanted to update y'all... updates to these original presets for the latest firmware, added some new scenes to some... added my "upright sim" (requires 3sigma irs), have been playing around with some more effects based presets... not really happy w all of them but probably never will be so just tossing them in.
"updatedBassAmps.zip" has all the latest versions. I'll leave the originals up just in case any presets devolved!

=====================================================================================
so went through all my bass presets for 20.04 firmware and thought I'd share them here.

NOTES:
1 - I always start w a factory cab... and later on might have switched some of the scenes to 3rd party cabs... but I always leave the original cab in slot 1... so if you encounter that, just mute whatever other slots are on and unmute any factory cabs present.
2 - when i am setting levels... I generally choose my loudest pickup combo and am switching the bass into passive mode and trying to hit red (I like to drive my power amps as hot as possible). When I switch an active preamp in I'll generally lower the output vol to suit.

first is just my conventional preset - uses all 8 amp models.

next is a number of "unconventional models".

unconventional continued...

the four scenes here were created using the "power amp simulations" that I created taking the tube preamp and matching the power amp settings to various power amps sections of amp models. They have been modified further here by changing the speaker curve and generally tweaked by adding some output compression, speaker drive, trasformer matching, sag, etc. the original power amps sim blocks can be found here:

so next we have some tone match files... the first three I just kept the tone match and didn't save as an ir... so user ir NOT needed.
these are mostly from a modeler device I'd prefer not to name. The presets themselves were my "fav of favs". I spent a lot of time trying amps in front, cab, no cab, etc to get back to my original sound. These first three... the first scene is going to be the closest match to what I had in that device... and then the other 2-? scenes are variations w dif eq etc.

next... some consolidated tone matches (from sm device) that I turned into irs. you can match up the irs with the name of each scene.
1662172553817.png

and then I did some tone matches from a few of my favorite bass sounds in my daw... for the most part they were just plugin compressors...

the irs for the above patches are included in the zip file below named "MV_TONEMATCH_IRS.zip". a preview of the files:

since I did the work figured i might share it... attached here is a newer copy of my presets because i added a few and updated a few...
the following is a list of how the tone match irs need to be placed in the user2 cab slots to fit to the presets as well as a list of what custom irs I used in any of the "unconventional bass amps" presets. these notes are also in the zip. where a scene is not mentioned I would have just been using factory irs
