I finally took the plunge and pulled the trigger on a Suhr and am completely enamored with the thing.
Here's a quick video of through the Axe-II, with a patch that I actually have setup for my Carvin (mahogany/aftermaths), but sounds pretty damn good with the Suhr as well. PVH6160 model with an Ownhammer impulse.
100% improv so there are plenty of clams in here, so consider yourself warned!
