Your house is on fire!.....

This is kind of related to the "how many and what brands" thread by rickster71 which has given me hours of guitar-porn surfing fun, thanks for that. :)

So, your house is on fire (sorry about that) you can only grab one guitar on your way out. Which one and why?

As I said in the above mentioned thread, I would probably grab my Gibson Nighthawk CST3 because of it's flexibility and sublime tones, but it's a tough decision to make. So what about you guys?

not to cast a pall on the thread but i actually had a house fire many years ago. I lost my Kramer nightswan. Damn that was a fine guitar. The upshot to that was i won an ugly guitar contest as it was all burnt and mangled. I won an ibanez baritone guitar that i ended up selling and used the proceeds towards my EBMM Axis. that was around 2002.

My recently acquired 2005 PRS CE-24. Easily the best playing guitar I’ve owned in my 30 years of playing. My other guitars could easily be replaced. This one just has some special mojo to it that I haven’t found in other CE-24’s.

Oh that's terrible, nightmarish. Max kudos for having the humour to enter the contest though.

My 513. But since I have two hands, picking the 2nd one would be way harder...

Funny, my wife and I were having a more positive version of this conversation the other day - we're thinking of doing the RV thing next summer, and which would I bring, when space is limited? An acoustic and an electric (& AX8/FM3)? Just an acoustic for the camping thing? It'd be really hard to go for months without an electric. Do I bring my best ones, or cheaper ones that I don't care if they get too hot during the day, cold at night, etc?

EDIT to add: yes. This is a very first-world problem, especially right now.

Bringing it back to the dark side. :grimacing:
I know what you mean. But whenever I go away I worry sick about the house getting burgled and them being stolen.
