WHY oh why...(and man this is frustrating)..when you go through the factory presets AS THEY ARE when they arrive.
More than 60% of them have ZERO output...why?
 
They don’t.

Either those aren’t factory or you have a pedal turned down or something.
 
Which Axe-FX model? At one point the non-XL factory banks had many presets with cab blocks set to user slots, which would be silent if you didn't have a user IR in those locations. (The same cab numbers were additional factory IRs on the XL.) The factory banks currently on the Fractal site don't have this issue.
 
99% the only problem I’ve had with presets, (not the factory ones) is aftermarket cabs being used.
Usually they tell you and I never read all the notes.
