Worked on this tonight. All guitars are done by me with the Axe FX II and an LTD Hetfield Iron Cross. Sad But True. Ill tighten up the end of the solo soon. Rhythm is HBE with the Tropicana IR. Leads are the USA 2c++ with a Marshall Greenback IR

My guess is they layered a few rhythm tracks on the original, with some panning as it sounds real thick. You're axe sounds good- exactly like my old one Jeremy!! ;)
 
I'm guessing there was a bit of studio magic going on. I used the HBEV2 with 3rd party cabs. No FX on the intro. Used the Expander for the main rhythm track for thickness.

I'm not having any trouble getting it to sound good once I figured out what my issue was at first. Now what I'm working on is getting the same sound in my DAW and without a ton of post eq. It's getting there.
