Hey lovely friends from all around! My band's new single is out. We have worked so hard getting this shit done so we're really happy to be able to show it to you guys! This forum has special place in my heart :D
The song is 7 minutes and really covers a lot of different genres. Listen to it in full or click around. The guitars is all axe fx, but I think we we're on firmware 11 back then! haha

TBH, I'm not into this style of music, and I specifically don't like vocals like this. But it sounds very professional, very well produced, the guitars sound terrific, great lead tones, still enough room between the notes to breathe (well, almost).

Guitars sound awesome with some really tight riffs. that vocal ruins it in my opinion, cookie cutter vocal sound used by way too many bands.

ballsy bandmane!
guitars sound nice and bass is huge yet very clear, really like how these collude!

Hey guys! Thank you so much for checking it out! I really hoped someone would leave a little comment! :)
I'm taking the feedback very serious! I actually cannot remember what amp model i used when we recorded haha. I said to myself back then that I should write it down.. but that didn't happen!
And Yek it's good to know that YOU like the mix! :D

We went from cookie-cutter to cookie-monster vocals. What's next? ;-) What would you have preferred? It's pretty much the same technique Randy from LOG uses.
I like how the vocals changens in the chorus and the choir in the pre-chorus.

Great tones, great playing and great gear. The vocals ruined it for me though. Modern metal needs new voices, not the same shrieking and "melodic" voices we've heard so much this last years. But anyhow, pretty kickass debut by Scortum.

Lol swirl ginger. Sounds cool. Disliked lead solo sounds like someone who really is afraid or can't shred ? Yep I'm tired of cookie wish there were more nevermore type vox out there. Great mix.
