IRs York Audio Master Thread - Newest Cab Pack: KW 412 M25-SH

Third-party impulse response pack
Justin, are you still doing IR packs? I haven't seen anything in awhile. I'm hoping you do some more dyna cabs, Anyone heard any news?
Making Dyna-Cab packs requires the robotic system and takes quite a while for each cabinet. They're much more involved than a regular IR.

That said, I hope he does too. He has some nice IRs and I'd like to see them fleshed out into Dyna-Cabs.

Wondered the same...I'm specially waiting for a Hesu Demon cab from York Audio. I got in touch with Justin early 2022 where he got the speaker(s) so I still hope that they will be coming in still being my favorite speakers 🤩🙏🏻

What cab irs your go-to for 2025? by now i am pretty much using the Mix 01 from York Audio mesa 412 OS v2 and Mix02 from Marsh 412 MV30a
I just use those two IRs. I think its better to stick to one or two solid irs.. WHat are your go-to IRS?

Been trying to get close to that 1 IR that Aaron Marshall from Intervals is referring to in this video below. He is currently using GGD contender a blend of a mesa 4x12 with vintage 30's and a Marshall with greenbacks? is there anyway i can get a similar IR using my existing York Audio IR packs? please advise. Thanks. Aaron too mentioned in the video is best to stick to one IR fro your sound.

Mix 1 from the KW 4x12 M25-SH is my go-to. The included Jim Adkins mixes are also great. I will also mix the KW 4x12 with the Mesa 4x12 OS-V2, and it sounds fantastic. You can't go wrong with either of these packs IMO.

I’ve been using the York 212 Creamback cab a lot. I usually used Mix 5 (a SM7 and M160), but lately I’ve been experimenting with blending single mic captures from the Natural Phase folder and I like it a lot! I tried a 57, a m160, AND a SM7 and aligned them in the alignment tab, and that sounds awesome. I’m definitely very interested in moving away from the mixes for a while and coming up with my own as it’s a lot of fun to hear the interactions between choosing different mics and aligning them in the alignment tab like you would with the real counterparts.

I’ve been pairing the Marshall MV30 with the KW M25. Those two are my favorites and can be used individually but I like the way they sound together.

It has been 81,648,000 seconds, or 1,360,800 minutes, or 945 days, or 135 weeks, or 31 months, or 2 years and 7 months, since the release of the last York Audio cab pack. It is safe to say that Justin has moved on from this project?
There is a York DynaCab pack, which was released 3/14/2024, 9 months and 5 days after Firmware 22.00 for the AxeFX III. Firmware 22.00 was released 6/9/2023.

Unsure if there are any plans for more DynaCab Packs from York, or any 3rd party for that matter.

SO much certainty until the very last character, “?”.

How safe is it to say with the question mark?

How many does he need to release and at what frequency would it take to assuage any fears?

He’s released many standard packs previously. Is he expected to release everything again?
