Hey peeps!
I'm trying to have all my gear synchronized over word clock, but because of my gear limitation, have to do some kind of daisy chain.
Here's the gear I have:
Focusrite Scarlett 18i20
Audient ASP008
Axe Fx 2
The Master clock is the Audient. The Focusrite is a PoS so cannot be the master, it always creates issues.
Here's what I'm aiming for, if possible. I'm scrapping funds for a nice RME Fireface, but it will take a while.
Audient ADAT (audio and word clock) -> Focusrite
Audient AES or S/PDIF OUT (for word clock only) -> Axe Fx 2 AES or S/PDIF IN
Axe Fx 2 S/PDIF OUT (for audio only) -> Focusrite S/PDIF IN
Can the Axe Fx take word clock from one device through s/pdif in and send audio to a different device through s/pdif out?
The input for the Axe Fx audio will remain the front guitar analog input, to then be sent through S/PDIF to the focusrite.
