Wireless unit w/ volume pedal & FC

I want my line 6 wireless unit stationed with the axe fx and not on my pedal board with my FC and volume pedal (EV-1). How do I set it up to accomplish this?

Run from wireless into axe input. Run the cable out to the fc, hook pedal to the fc?

Any reason you don't just set the EV-1 as an expression pedal with a Volume block? Then you don't need a cable

Have you used a wireless before? Why are you considering putting the wireless on the pedal board to begin with?

I'm gonna guess there's more on his pedalboard than just an FC, but I don't really know.

Dual lock the receiver inside the rack case on the side wall. It’s what I did, been fine for a couple years now.
