How would an editor tool cause a hardware fault ?

If it « bricks » the device while updating... I know that there’s an emergency procedure for flashing the device and go back to a secure firmware but who knows...

I've been on this forum since... well before Fractal had a forum, and I've never heard of anyone bricking their Axe-FX (any version) using software to edit the presets. Maybe I missed a thread, but that really doesn't seem like it would happen. I mean, stick to FractalBot for updating firmware, but use whatever works for you for editing and i think you'll be fine.

Oh, and when I say "before Fractal had a forum", I'm serious. I got in when the Axe-FX Ultra was a baby, and there was some other forum someone was running before Fractal got this one going. We all moved over when the official forum opened up.
