Why is the Invective Cab Stereo Capable?

The Invective 212 cab has a V30 and a Creamback G12H-75. Both are 8 ohms. The cab is cabaple of 16ohm mono operation, or 8ohm stereo Operation.

The head has 2 1/4 outs, capable of 16/8/4 ohm modes.

My question is why did them make the cabinet capable of stereo? What's the point? I can't see running a pair of these 120W heads into a single 2x12 cab. And I can't see the point of running 2 speaker cables from the head to the cab when you could just run one. So what am I not seeing?

I mean I guess you could run a pair of mini heads in stereo or something?

I believe this is for when you mic each speaker separately in a stereo or wet/dry setup, this saves you from having to use two cabs.

Probably for flexibility. Some people may choose to run it in stereo with a two channel power amp, or multiple heads.

In my old rig, I have an Avatar 212 that can be used either mono or stereo. The power amp is two channel, and the preamps are stereo.

even with speakers close together, stereo sound has an effect. it's nice to have a cab that can be mono or stereo, depending on the needs for the performance.
