How about this? A quickie but not bad I think!
The guitar synth on the record uses "hard sync'd" oscillators, which unfortunately is not possible on the Axe-Fx or AX8, but you can emulate the distinctive sync sweep with a negative feedback flanger. I also think the VH version was a synth is probably 8 oscillators in UNISON mode, so I've added some tricks to fatten things up.
@ -> M@ , - I don't know how you do it........ !
Yep ....we need some kind of cross-platform preset converter utility to bring the family back together.....Starting to feel like the red headed step child. Being an axfx2 owner that is...
Admin M@, this is amazing! Had a request for "Van Hagar" and this came up - was dreading it but now realizing AX8 and this amazing community will make it a reality! Does anyone have a good patch for the non-synth guitar parts, a general Eddie 5150-era super-chorus-y, etc.? As always very grateful for everyone's hard work and great advice...How about this? A quickie but not bad I think!
