Why cant i figure this out??

I want to control a volume block with MIDI CC messages.

I've assigned the External 7 modifier to the block's volume setting. How the heck do I get midi CC messages into external 7?

My memory says this was more straightforward on the AX8. Also, sorry if this has been asked before - i didn't see it in a search.

You need to assign a CC# for Ext. Ctrl. 7. See page 67 of FM3 manual.

Also note the FM3 doesn't support standard MIDI data over USB. If you're sending from a computer, a MIDI interface is needed to connect to the FM3 MIDI in port.
