Why Bass & Other Instruments?????????????????

Hi ,

The bass players deserve a spot just for bass players, not other instruments. With this kind of thing you see that for the Fractal team the bass players are a background.

We have very few amplifiers and I think it's time to take ourselves seriously.

Based on the volume of posts in this section, I don't think it warrants being split out.

Being as there isn't a "guitar" section, this already is a "special" one... ;)

Actions far more meaningful (not giving us amp details, not updating amps, promises broken, ignored and told "good enough" often, etc. etc) happen on the daily here. Having us lumped in with everything that isn't a guitar seems "meh" in comparison. Us bass players typically chat about stuff on TalkBass.com. I don't see any of that changing anytime soon.
 
Guys - they are adding a Darkglass thingy right now! Sheesh - wait a few days/weeks until you see the results.

Totally agree with you, this is just one more thing.
 
Its not as if the discussion of basses is getting lost amongst the other instruments is it? Shouldnt you be happy that you have a board discussion that is relevant to your instrument? I mean look at the NGD and other guitar porn /advice threads that just default to the lounge, alongside discussion of katy perry and whatnot. Choose your battles.
