Why AXE II is fixed to 48kHz only?

Hi guys,

why not 44kHz, or why not more options? Anybody knows?
It would be more useful if using AXE as USB audio interface, having 44kHz or other options...
44kHz is CD quality, 48kHz is DVD standard...
Any thoughts?

I agree that it would be nice to have a choice between 44.1 and 48. Many people use 44.1 in home studios and also lot of other gear use 44.1. If you want to use that gear in the some project it would be handy if the Axe fx could also be set to that.
