Who Teaches via Skype?

I'm not getting free help here, so who teaches via Skype? Obviously this would be a paid scenario.

Search the forum for "Skype". I think Moke does this, Simeon and others.

BTW, thousands of users have gotten extensive free support here, from fellow forum members and Fractal, and still do.

it might be because many of your questions are very general so it's impossible really to type out an answer (how should i set up the ax8?) or your questions are covered in the User Manual (what do the lights mean, how do i use the looper).

if the answers are already typed somewhere, people will link you to where that's already typed, like the Tips/Tricks thread someone mentioned, or to the User manual. generally speaking, most people don't want to type something that exists somewhere already.

for forums, it's usually best if you have specific questions, rather than large general questions that would take forever to type out. but please be sure to read through the User Manual first, or at least search through the PDF/computer version - a lot of answers are in there, truly. http://www.fractalaudio.com/downloads/manuals/AX8/AX8-Owners-Manual.pdf

for the overview you need, perhaps Skype sessions will work. i also have an AX8 Beginner's Series of videos available:

https://axefxtutorials.selz.com/item/ax8-bg
https://axefxtutorials.selz.com/item/ax8-bb-p1
https://axefxtutorials.selz.com/item/ax8-bb-fs

many have benefitted from the detail that i show in those 3 topics. they are beginner level, but that means you learn the foundations for successfully doing complex things in the future.

it sounds like you want to figure out the concepts of using the AX8 rather than specifics right now, so i would suggest searching this forum, or looking in that tips/tricks thread to begin with. people here have been willing to help you out, but again the general non-specific questions make it tough to help out.

+1 on reading the manual. Use it to make a basic preset from scratch with a specific amp and cab of your choice. By trying this you will come across specific questions that the forum and archives can help you answer. You can do it!
