Who says Axe FX isn't just as good for vocals... (Chris Brown Vocal Cover

So this track is pretty far out of my normal scope of metal and djentiness but I wanted to try some new vocal production techniques so I ended up recording a vocal cover of Chris Brown's No Bullshit.

I used the tube preamp sim and some fx and into my interface I think it turned out pretty nice. Soundcloud didn't like me uploading it there so I had to put it on soundclick.

Enjoy, and tell me how it sounds and how I can make it better!

Thanks man, like I said before it's pretty far out of my scope of music but I just wanted to do it just for shits and giggles. Every new experiment betters you somewhere down the line!

Sounds great, man. Can you tell me the chain you used from the mic to your interface? The vocal sounds like it was a pretty clean recording and I'd be interested to know the signal flow. Thanks!

Dynamic Mic -> AxeFX -> Noise Gate -> Tube Preamp -> whichever post fx's -> AxeFX line outs -> Interface

Hope thats detailed enough, any more questions just ask, and if anyone has advice for better signal flow feel free to let me know!!
