When updating to Firmware 9.0 do you . . .

need to do the amp block thingy (move it up to the next one then back) to reset the amp models or is it finally done automatically when you update the firmware?

It's not done automatically for you. You do not have to do it but I know that the COMP value changed in a bunch fo the amps and it does make them sound different (better).
