Whats the best method to update the MFC?

I have a axe II with 2.0 firmware and I see many people having issues with it.I'm a little leary of doing it.I've never updated the mfc only the axeII.Can I do it with a USB cable or does it have to be a midi cable.Any help would be great.I'm really trying to avoid any problems with the update.Thanks,Jeff

Check out the thread posted yesterday, Updating II and MFC. It contains the steps you need to follow. You will also need a 5 pin midi for the MFC update. I've used an $8.00 cable from Radio Shack that has worked. I've since upgraded to Best-tronics cables:

It is called "Updating II and MFC" by cragginshred‎. Click on the "What's New" tab at the top of this page. It will show you the recent posts. It is there now. I'm not sure of how to provide the link otherwise.
