What type of block do you recommend using as a "Clean Boost"?

I've pretty much decided I like the RCB best, but find different amps respond better with others.

yep, those are the best to my ears as well. I love the SDD, but it's almost too transparent, can add boost too much of the spectrum. The RCB shapes just enough without taking too much away.

Post amp, parametric gives you lot of flexibility.

Before the amp to push it, Ruckus LED/Si all day.

+1 on this. I like using both null filter and GEQ so they can be stacked or used individually. Great flexibility for fitting in the mix and boosting for solos.

Because I use the volume pedal Knopfler style, I use the Micro Amp (good enough for him; good enough for me) - I always had one on the board pre-the III. I only use it if the sound guy is off his game, or at the bar at solo time!
