What is your guitar whim right now?

Forget what you wished yesterday, or what you think will be more convenient tomorrow. We all know GAS changes directions like the wind.

What would you like to grab right now?

Few minutes ago this red porn popped into my Facebook feed and I thought "Yummy, yummy! I want to lick that!" :p

But the whim vanished when I followed the link and realized that the price of that Umeda UST-1-aldernico1 is only $220 🧐

Then I started browsing that store, and I found this Bachus Handmade Series that really grabbed my attention. This is my whim right now!

I am with you on popping red GAS. I am tempted by this 1981 Tokai

Not bad, Looks like they mixed in some gold, but that just might be the photo. In the end it's all about the guitar itself. I'm not crazy about white guitars, but I own three of them.
That was painted by my son. It's got a fairly heavy metal flake (the base color was gold) and it also has purple pearl.

The actual color is called tangerine...

This picture is a bit washed out looking. Sometimes it looks much darker - just depends on the lighting.

Here's one of my signatures from The G4 Experience and a live shot from a California State Fair performance.

I get you about colors, though. I'm not a fan of black guitars...

I don't know why but I am infatuated with this guitar right now. Seriously considering one. The funny thing is I have looked at these before and turned my nose up at them because of the sparkle finish and now I cant seem to not look at it.

Anyone have the 411 on the Sparkle jets? I've noticed a few things that are different on some years.

The one pictured on top has what looks like a roller style bridge, a skinnier headstock and the 3 position tone switch uncovered tuning keys. Where the newer one has a standard looking bridge with adjustable saddles, wider headstock, no 3 position tone switch and covered tuning keys. Is one better than the other or is this just semantics?

I bought this 962 Wood Works guitar on a whim and it has exceeded my expectations. I received it last week from Japan and the craftsmanship and attention to detail is some of the best I’ve seen and I own some really nice guitars. The neck carve is an asymmetrical V that fits perfect in my hand and is so comfortable to play. It also has this flat spot under frets 1&2 right where my thumb goes when I’m chording up there. Just amazing.

Weird. It looks cartoonish and incredibly well built at the same time.
