All I want is something that I can make decent Ir's with. What is the least expensive power amp that would work for that?

I tried using the mic + DI method using the line out of a THD Hotplate with my Marshall plexi and it sounded terrible. Totally unusable. So I am looking to buy a slide state power amp and try making Ir's. I found a few possible choices, but I don't know if any of them would work or not.
What is working best for you guys? What is the least expensive solidi state power amp you can buy that would work for making good irs?

I looked at the Seymour Duncan choices but they cost too much and had tone controls which made me wonder how they'd do when it came to making irs.

The Harley Benton Custom Line Thunder 99 is the most inexpensive one I've seen so far. The Carvin looks like it may be the Harley Benton just re-branded with the Carvin name and more expensive.

There's a new Thomann/HB mono power amp that I have been wanting to try.

I have shot my own cab IRs using the EHX 44 magnum power amp. It worked fine. These are now my most used IRs. I don't think they are much better than what is out there, but I like the sound, so I have not looked back :)

Amazon sells tons of inexpensive cheap stereo solid-state power amplifiers. Includes shipping usually if you’re a prime member. Look under home audio amplifiers. Tons of cheap choices.
