What is a good way to record from the Axe3 onto an ipad?

I'm looking for an easy way to record some some tracks out of the Axe3 using Auria on Ipad. Can I use the usb out on the 3 somehow? Do I just need a special cord or something like a lightning connector?

Make sure you get the real Apple one - will save you a lot of headaches and issues later. I use this for iPad ->usb stuff all the time...to include midi data with some other applications.

You can then use any USB A<->B cable you have to connect.

Just downloaded the Auria app. Thanks for posting about this. It is very cool. I don’t really do any home recording mainly cause I don’t have a descent setup to do it. But I just got a new iPad Pro 12.9” with 256 GB and with this app I think I can actually do a little recording. I already have the USB lightning cable along with an iRig adapter I can use with an old BOSS MICRO-BR to create drum tracks with and track them onto the Auria app. I’m very impressed with the Auria software so far. Recorded a drum track from the BOSS tonight and it is very cool software.

Hey, thanks guys! I will give this a try. I have been using Reaper on my Mac Mini with great success. But it never hurts to have a backup or something just to get an idea down quick.
