I would love to see an FM9. I'm wondering if you could make it twice as big, could it also be twice as powerful? I.e, could you get a full spec'ed Axe Fx III into a FC-12 sized floorboard?

As has been explained to me, way too much, apparently you can't get a fully spec'ed Axe III in a floorboard because of cooling issues. I don't know if its possible to use more simpler IC's working in tandom, series, or whatever way together would do the job, but I reckon if it were possible it would have been done. Even if it means a floorboard almost twice as wide as the AX-8. Even though what you ask is my hypothetical wish product as well.

I would avoid purchasing a floor model more expensive than 1k for many practical reasons. It's better to keep such an expensive piece of equipment in a rack far away from the craziness on stage.

Now that I have an Axe FX 3, my dream Fractal device would be one that would give me "in-the-room" sound effect while wearing high quality headphones, for practice. I don't even care how much it costs if it works really well. I'd be able to pipe backing tracks into it and jam along at night at a proper, loud (to me) volume. I'm not sure how feasible something like this would be, but if it is, I'd like to put in a pre-order. :)
