What fender strat model is this?

Hi,
I’ve had this strat hanging round for more than ten years and played it only a couple of times. It’s mint so I thought I’d sell it. Problem is, I cannot remember what model it was - purchased in 2010 I thing - any of you experts know the model and value please?
Thanks
Pauly

Hi @Henry
Thanks for the tip, however I’m not really keen to join an Internet forum, cause they are so full of self absorbed, egotistical, opinionated and otherwise undesirable morons who often state things as fact when they are in fact wrong. ( haha say what you mean pauly!) This one is the only civil forum I’ve seen besides htt. I’m sure there are some experts amongst the fractal community that will set me straight (I hope haha)
Thanks
Pauly

Ping you are an expert!
I logged into the fender site, (as I registered a guitar there many years ago) and after the old “what the hell was my password back then” shuffle, I was able to see the fender gear I have registered, and register other gear using just the serial number. I entered the serial, and you are right! It’s a “American Special Stratocaster” whatever that means. Now to decide if I want to sell it or not :)
Thanks
Pauly

I'm no expert, but it looks like the American Special Stratocaster (two string trees, similar headstock, etc)

Looks like a Highway One-Large Headstock - Never liked those, but that's just me. American Special, same same.....

American Special is a Highway One with a gloss finish.
So American Special ,great woodwork garbage Korean bridge and mediocre pickups but they are easy to swap. Love the frets.
