Best mate of mine is a valve purest. Could not believe I'd invested in an amp modeler (until he heard the Friedmans ...). Keith is one of his all time favorite guitarists so yesterday I texted him the news  I never heard back  So I thought I'd better call to make sure he was alright. He'd been sitting on youtube looking through rig rundowns trying to debunk the news ... hehehe

Congrats to FAS & Keith Urban

Keith Urban is one of my favorite guitarists and IMHO one of the absolute most melodic players.
I didn't really know his music that well until he did the CMT Crossroads concert with John Mayer.
They brought the absolute finest out of each other, both with regards to vocals and guitar playing - still one of my favorite shows, I watch it all the time.
Also, and I've said this before, the Urban Tweed Twin amp in the Axe is my favorite clean to "vintage gain" amp in the the Axe, and easily worth the price of admission for an Axe Fx alone to me.

Btw Keith, M@ and Cliff - I think Keith needs the rest of his amp collection available in the Axe asap ,-)

I still remember my wife dragging me to see him at the Beacon Theater in Manhattan back in 2004. I was reluctant to see some pretty boy country guy.

When he played that 40th Anniversary Fender Telecaster of his my jaw dropped and I remember saying to her that this is the last time we would see him in such a small theater. He was tremendous and smoking on the guitar. I've been a huge fan ever since.

I'm sure it's already in the works if not already done (since he's now using the amp models live)

Awesome! I've been covering Keith's music for years with Fractal gear, and now he can be creating the music on the same gear! Great player and singer, love having him aboard the Fractal Express!

Anyone have an idea of what Keith is using for monitors?
    In-ears/wedges?

Keith has a very impressive rig and a great player. Wonder what all is using. I have seen a rig run down w him and talks about using the axe effect for delay and reverb. i know he uses a tweed and dumble ran at the same time still.

I would love to have more artist like keith on the roster and have them do a preset or two for the future or cliff and them include one or two modded presets they may use for an update sometime.

Glad to see another great guitarist join the family. Congrats Keith, Matt, and FAS.
