new Headrush FRFR-108 arrived few days ago

it has static noise at volume 5, is this normal/

right after turning on

Few hours later it's LOUDER
Note, ignore the chair creaking in the beginning

Headrush FRFR-108 >> audio interface >> Mac laptop (TRS cable)

PS: NEVER seen this issue with Blackstar ID:Core Stereo 10 all year long
Blackstar ID:Core Stereo 10 >> Mac laptop (1/8" cable line in on the combo amp)

I have seen your posts on various Facebook groups and now here.
I don’t think That this is an Fractal issue, you should contact your dealer or Headrush customer support.

I did try many FRFR Speakers and I would never recommend the Headrush or the Alto (which is the same)
In my opinion they just do not sound good.
There are many good speakers on the market like CLR, Xitone, Red Sound (which I prefer).
Do yourself a favor and don’t use a professional unit like the Axe Fx with that kind of a budget speaker.

cheers

had to google:
audio interface causes noise on speaker

turned out that multiport USB hub was culprit...

plugging in audio interface direct into Mac lappy USB port solved it

no more hissy

update AUG 2021
---------------------

also ditched the TS 1/4" cable AxeFx3 output to speaker input
replaced with balanced XLR cable
(knew bout humbuster n balanced TRS 1/4" cables, but opted for XLR cause the AFX3 manual recommends it)
solved both buzzing USB multiport hub + things sound 2-3x louder greater everything now
balanced cables is key indeed
