Weird, highly unwanted, harmonic

If you listen real close, there is a lower harmonic behind the played notes coming from my Axe (XL, 9.04FW). Only thing on my preset, is an amp black and cab. It only happens on this one preset, and I have checked on multiple guitars, and the note is there an all of them.

I assume it some setting on the amp, as it disappears when I switch to the amp on the Y channel. Anyone who has experienced this, and know what causes this?

Ghost notes? some amps have it worse than others.. .there are a few threads about it.

That sounds like ghost notes but almost too present to be. It almost sounds like there’s a ring modulator effect going on there.

My thoughts exactly, but there any modulation on the preset what so ever.

Does anyone know if there is a certain parameter in the amp block that causes this, so I can get rid of it without mordifying my tone too much?

TL/DR: reduce Supply sag, increase B+ constant, change power supply type (try DC instead of AC).
