Weird Crackles and Pops on 12.09

Hi

Since upgrading to 12.09 I'm getting weird crackles and pops coming from my higher gain presets. Its especially noticeable on a single note and sounds as if its digital clipping coming from somewhere.

1. I've bypassed all blocks except the amp and cab bock - still happens
2. The outputs are not clipping on the output block - only just into the red
3. It's not a midi clock the sounds are too random for that
4. Input impedance is set to 1M and threshold -52.2db - changing any of these settings doesn't get rid of the problem.
5. I'm using custom IR's otherwise I would post the preset.
6. All cables are OK - all neutrik ends, van Damme studio cable etc and all checked over
7. This didn't happen before I did the upgrade
8. It almost sounds like a faulty jack plug on the guitar but there is nothing wrong with the socket and happens on my other guitars (MusicMan L3, Les Paul, Suhr Tele)
9. I've also changed to factory IR's and this still happens

Has anyone else come across this please ?

I'm using the USA IIC++ Deep Amp model with the YA MES 412 V30 Mix 06 cab block

Thanks

Rule #1: Post the preset.

W
Save a copy of the preset with factory IRs and post that.

I've changed the cabs to factory ones ... I usually get these artefacts when I hold an E note on the G string and let it ring out.

I tried this on my monitors instead of my PA and it still happens
