Wampler Tumnus Deluxe

Has anyone seen this pedal? This is like my ideal drive sound. Just a little sparkly, crunchy, transparent goodness layered on. Has anyone been able to achieve a sound like this with one of the FX8 drives?

Pete Thorn does an awesome demo (of course):

There are a number of threads in some of the other forums (some posted as recent as yesterday) talking specifically about how to dial in emulates of the Klon (which is the Tumnus is based on). The FX8 uses the same drive block as the other model so the suggested settings will still aplly

I apologize for the somewhat philosophical treatment of the subject...
The whole really sounds amazing!
But I think that a small amount of merit is due to the Wampler.
You need to have fingers like Pete Thorn and talent like Pete Thorn.
Then almost every overdrive will sound phenomenal.
It's a trick for producers: they're always doing new ones,
although quite similar sounding guitar effects,
but they employ outstanding personalities for presentations.
And we are enchanted, we buy something new, nonstop.
Fortunately, we have Fractal FX8 under the foot :)
Here we can conjure up many sounds (also Wampler)
and save a lot of money :)

I bought this pedal to use with my FX8 and can confirm that it is very transparent and also easy to dial in.

I use it in a fairly low gain setting for both my clean and crunch channels on the Mesa Boogie TC-50, and this gives me with a good range of tones.
