Now that the expression pedal is calibrated and working nicely, it occurs to me, unless I'm missing something, that in order to use it as a wah-wah live - one must first engage it by pressing the foot switch to which it is assigned or else the wah sound will be active all the time.
A Dunlop Cry Baby needs to be engaged as well, but one can do that and get the wah sound in one motion. FX8 requires one to first engage and then move one's foot to the pedal to begin the sweep. Am I right?
Might there be a way to have the wah on all the time and have it engage only when moving off the heel down or Zero position and as one rocks the the pedal forward it would engage at 10-20%?
Am I daft?
