This is an original track I put together at the request of Andy from Vallhalir.at days before Halloween 2019.
He's going to be releasing a new cab pack based on a pulsonic cone, Alnico-Silver Celestion loaded Vox AC30 Top Boost from 1965 in the next few days so, he wanted someone to try it out first.
I'm using an AX8 and two guitars on this track. My Suhr standard HSS and a Fender Strat 62 AVRI loaded with the original single coils and a VegaTrem.
For my preset I've used a combination of dynamic mics (E906 or SM57) paired with a ribbon mic (R121). No crazy tweaking of the amp model. A little extra sustain on the solos by adding a drive block with a "Timmy" model.
Time based effects are from Pro Tools.
All guitar sounds are AC30 amp model and Valhallir AC30 IRs.
