VOLUME CHANGE DURING SCENES CHANGE

Hello I own an AXE FX 2 XL, matrix gt1000 1u, behringer MFC and a PORT CITY 2X12

Can anyone here tell me why is it when I'm changing scenes, there seems to be a volume change.

So for example I have this rock metal preset using FRIEDMAN tone and I use drive, delay, blocks, filter, etc.

In addition I'm also using the FX loop Block so that I can send my sound to FOH and also have my cab in use on stage.

Some scenes retain the desired volume while other scenes just drop like 10 db or so.

For this preset it seems to be affecting the sound coming from my cab, but doesn't seem to affect the sound going direct into PA.

However some presets of my might do the opposite meaning, some of the scenes there's a volume increase!

So confusing and annoying!

Any reason why? This is very undesirable obviously!

There are a number of possibilities as to what could be the cause... post the patch, so we can have a look

You can compensate for this by setting output levels per scene.

The output mixer AND fx loop have volume sliders per scene. Having a change in one scene of the fx loop would explain the change in only the cab volume.

You could also have an issue if you’re running parallel effects and have them set to THRU when bypassed.
